2. What The Desk is — and is not

The Desk is a quantitative analytics and educational tool. It is not financial, investment, or trading advice; we are not a broker-dealer, prop firm, CTA, or investment adviser; we do not manage money, hold funds, or execute trades. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to trade any strategy, use any firm, or fund any account.

Simulated and projected results are hypothetical, are based on assumptions (including inputs you provide), and do not represent actual results or guarantee future outcomes. Trading carries a substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, be at least 18, and are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.

4. Plans, billing & refunds

We offer a free tier, a one-time Challenge Pass (60 days of Core-level access), and a recurring Core subscription (monthly or annual). Prices are shown at checkout.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you may cancel any time and retain access through the end of the paid period.
The Challenge Pass is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
Refunds: [state your policy — e.g. "all sales are final except where required by law", or a 14-day money-back window].
We may change prices or plan features with notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.

5. Acceptable use

Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute our data or firm database; don't reverse-engineer, overload, or abuse the API or infrastructure; don't attempt to bypass tier limits or access other users' data. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Firm information & trademarks

Prop-firm rules in our database are provided for information only, may be inaccurate or out of date, and may change at any time — always confirm directly with the firm before paying a fee. Firm names and marks belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply affiliation or endorsement [except where an affiliate relationship is disclosed on the relevant page].

7. Intellectual property

The site, engine, and content are owned by [Company legal name]. The trading data you enter remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service to you.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Company legal name] will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any trading losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the claim.
